As a full‑time CT Technologist I at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12‑hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist I, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Summary of Essential Duties Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions Administer contrast material Prepare and operate CT scan equipment Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading Cleans and disinfects patient rooms Follow infection control and safety guidelines We are currently offering a $7500 sign‑on bonus to newly hired Techs! Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required Licensure/Certifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT‑R) required California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT‑CT) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required Venipuncture certification required Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred Applicants with 2 years+ experience may be considered as a CT Tech II #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Jobs
