Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive OT assessments for adult residents to determine functional needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, cognitive-perceptual skills, and motor function to promote independence.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, track progress, and adjust treatment plans to support discharge planning and goals attainment.
- Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility policies.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social work, and other staff) to coordinate care and support safe transitions between care phases.
- Educate residents and families on therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies to maintain progress after discharge.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland or eligibility for licensure in Maryland
- Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program
- Experience: 1+ year in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and participate in a 13-week travel assignment in Lanham, MD
- Comfortable with a day shift schedule (08:00–16:30) and completing assigned weekly hours
