Make a difference in the lives of students by providing vital mental health support within a specialized school environment. This contract opportunity is based on-site at Meridian Academy, serving students in grades 6–12 who have significant behavioral and social/emotional needs. The assignment runs ASAP through late May 2027, with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider (SSP) License with a School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience supporting middle and high school students with severe behavioral concerns, particularly in alternative settings such as facility placements or day treatment programs
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and IEP process (evaluations, meetings, development)
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Completion of district background check and fingerprinting required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized mental health services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate closely with program staff to address social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments and participate in IEP development, meetings, and compliance tasks
• Provide behavioral intervention and crisis support when necessary
• Serve a caseload of 23–30 students with complex needs, helping students develop coping skills and achieve their educational goals
