Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist, Paid Social & Community Management will support day-to-day paid social campaign execution and social media community management across Vensure Employer Solutions and its portfolio of division partner brands. This role will assist with campaign setup, creative coordination, content scheduling, community monitoring, engagement tracking, and basic performance reporting across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, and other approved social channels.

This position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented marketer who enjoys social media, writing, coordination, and learning the fundamentals of paid social advertising. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with Paid Media, Brand, Content, Creative, and Marketing Operations teams to help campaigns and social media activity run smoothly, consistently, and on schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the setup, launch, monitoring, and basic optimization of paid social campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and other approved platforms. 

• Assist with campaign trafficking, including uploading creative, entering copy, applying targeting details, setting budgets, and completing pre-launch quality checks.

• Monitor campaign delivery, pacing, and performance trends, and flag issues or opportunities to the paid media team.

• Help maintain paid social audiences, including prospecting, retargeting, website visitor, customer, and matched audiences.

• Support account-based and lead-generation campaigns by helping upload lists, check audience setup, and organize campaign assets.

• Apply approved campaign naming conventions, tracking links, UTMs, and documentation to support accurate reporting.

• Assist with weekly and monthly performance reporting by pulling platform metrics, organizing data, and summarizing key trends.

• Help review campaign and lead data to identify basic patterns in engagement, cost, lead volume, and performance.

• Support simple A/B tests across copy, creative, audiences, and formats, and document results for future learnings.

• Coordinate with Brand, Creative, and Content teams to request, organize, and traffic social media assets and copy.

• Assist with organic social scheduling and publishing across approved brand channels.

• Monitor social media comments, messages, tags, and mentions, escalating questions, issues, or opportunities to the appropriate team members.

• Support community management by engaging with approved comments, helping maintain brand voice, and ensuring timely responses when appropriate.

• Track social engagement, community activity, and basic audience growth trends across brand channels.

• Maintain social media calendars, campaign documents, asset folders, and status updates to keep work organized and visible.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure paid social and organic social activity aligns with campaign timelines, brand standards, and approved messaging.

• Stay current on social media platform updates, paid social best practices, and community management trends.

• Travel may be required occasionally to attend onsite meetings, training sessions, company events, or industry conferences.

Marginal Functions

• Build and maintain productive relationships with team members, internal stakeholders, and division partner teams.

• Attend webinars, platform training, and professional-development sessions to remain current on social media and paid social best practices.

• Support broader social media, paid media, and campaign coordination initiatives when needed.

• Complete additional projects and duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic working knowledge of LinkedIn, Meta, and other social media platforms, with an interest in learning paid social advertising tools.

• Understanding of social media marketing, paid social campaign support, content scheduling, engagement monitoring, and community management.

• Familiarity with campaign setup, targeting, creative trafficking, budget pacing, and basic performance tracking.

• Ability to follow approved processes for tracking links, UTMs, naming conventions, documentation, and campaign quality assurance.

• Ability to support paid and organic social activity from planning and setup through scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to maintain brand voice across social platforms.

• Ability to review social and campaign metrics, identify basic trends, and summarize findings clearly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and escalate questions appropriately.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage calendars, timelines, assets, and multiple campaign details.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when setting up campaigns, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, platform updates, campaign timelines, and stakeholder needs.

• Ability to collaborate with Brand, Content, Creative, Paid Media, and Marketing Operations teams.

• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, take direction, and build hands-on experience in paid social and community management.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.

• One to three years of experience in marketing, social media, communications, digital advertising, or campaign coordination.

• Exposure to LinkedIn, Meta, or other social media platforms, including organic posting, community monitoring, or paid campaign support.

• Experience assisting with social media campaigns, content scheduling, engagement tracking, or paid social execution.

• Experience writing, editing, organizing, or publishing social media content preferred.

• Experience pulling basic performance metrics and summarizing results for team members or stakeholders.

• Familiarity with social media management tools, Salesforce, Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, or reporting dashboards preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn additional applications as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting B2B, HR technology, payroll, staffing, professional services, or multi-brand social media programs.

• Familiarity with social media scheduling or management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Later, HubSpot, or similar platforms.

• Exposure to LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, or paid social reporting dashboards.

• Interest in social media trends, community engagement, paid social advertising, and digital marketing best practices.

• LinkedIn Marketing Labs, Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or related social media or digital marketing certifications.

• Experience working in a shared-services marketing environment, agency, or organization supporting multiple brands or business units.
