Customs Entry Writer Secaucus, NJ 07094 | Fully Onsite | $25–$28/hr DOE + Benefits Responsibilities Process and review import documentation for Customs clearance Prepare and review Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, and delivery orders Coordinate with customs brokers, steamship lines, truckers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment releases and delivery scheduling Track and trace shipments while resolving delays, holds, and operational issues Support ISF, AMS, ACE, and Customs-related workflows Verify shipment information including HTS codes, country of origin, and documentation accuracy Coordinate freight releases and maintain accurate shipment records within logistics systems Handle multiple import files simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment Requirements 2–3+ years of experience in customs entry writing, import operations, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination Experience handling import documentation and Customs clearance workflows Familiarity with CBP procedures, ISF, AMS, ACE, or freight release coordination preferred Experience with CargoWise, AS400, SAP, EDI, or similar logistics systems preferred Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines daily Equal Opportunity Employer MOHR Talent is an equal‑opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
