As part of our team, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and optimize web applications that power our Commerce systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js to create seamless, high-performance user interfaces. Build and optimize server‑side functionality using Node.js to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient handling of e‑commerce transactions. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user‑friendly interfaces that enhance the customer shopping experience. Work closely with product managers and other engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver features aligned with business goals. Optimize application performance, including page load times, responsiveness, and SEO best practices. Integrate third‑party APIs and services for payment processing, inventory management, and other commerce functionalities. Debug and resolve issues across the stack, ensuring high availability and reliability for production systems. Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and trends to drive innovation within the team. Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing. Must‑Have Skills 3+ years of professional experience in web development or software engineering. Proficiency in Node.js for building scalable server‑side applications. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API integration. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications (e.g., lazy loading, caching, and image optimization). Experience with version control tools such as Git . Familiarity with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL). Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. Extensive experience in React and Next.js , with a deep understanding of their ecosystems. Experience with e‑commerce platforms or building custom e‑commerce systems. Knowledge of SEO principles and server‑side rendering (SSR). Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API design patterns. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive web design principles. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. A proactive mindset with a focus on delivering high‑quality solutions that meet user and business needs. Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic decision‑making. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
