Controls Technician $52 - $53 per hour Pennsauken, New Jersey Direct Hire A well-established building automation and controls contractor is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to join their growing team in New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Controls Technician looking to work on a variety of commercial and industrial building automation projects. The Role Install, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls Perform system startup, testing, and commissioning activities Diagnose and resolve issues relating to controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices Work with a variety of control systems and building automation platforms Support system upgrades, retrofits, and service projects Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery Complete service reports, commissioning documentation, and project records Support customer training and system handover activities About You Previous experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC controls Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences Experience with one or more of the following systems: Siemens Honeywell Johnson Controls Trane Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Comfortable working independently and interacting directly with customers What's on Offer $52 - $53 per hour depending on experience Union benefits package available Company vehicle for business use Vacation and paid time off Stable, long-term opportunity with a strong project pipeline Opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial BAS projects Supportive team environment with opportunities for continued growth Apply To apply for the Controls Technician role, please send your resume to Sam Gladdy via the Apply Now button. #J-18808-Ljbffr
