Job Summary

Yearly Base Salary Range: $85000 to $90000

Is relocation available: Yes Nationwide.

Is there additional variable compensation: 10%

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to areas and assigned programs.
• Lead safety team in projects.
• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities.
• Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures.
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Employee/Health & Safety Work

• Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.
• Identifying potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions.
• Investigating accidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
• Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to employee health and safety.
• Maintaining and analyzing records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies.

Basic Qualifications

• BS Safety Management or related field & 2 or more years of safety and health experience OR MS Safety Management or related field and minimal safety and health experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tire/rubber industry experience.
• Authorized OSHA General Industry Training.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Disaster and Fire Prevention experience.
