We are hiring aRegionalSales Manager(RSM)to lead a high-performing Steelcase sales team in the greater Washington DC metro market. This area offers one of the most dynamic and resilient mega-markets in the United States, and a key growth geography for Steelcase. The RSM will collaborate closely with our dealer partners, Steelcase sales teams, vertical marketcategoriesand Steelcase senior leaders to drive profitable growth and gain Steelcase Inc. market sharein theMid-Atlanticregion.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience in a team-based sales environment

Experience selling through and aligning with distribution

Proven success selling into A&D and commercial real estate in a specification driven sales role or as a team leader

Ability to build and execute end-userfocusednew business development strategies in a market

Located or willing to relocate in the Washington DC area

Minimum 5-7years of relevant salesor leadershipexperience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior management experience.If not formal, thenstrong evidenceand examples of team leadership.

Knowledgeof contract furniture industry.

Knowledgeof local market/region.

What You Will Be Doing:

Delivering regional revenue results throughdirectleadership of sixsales professionals across Washington DC.

Lead and motivate the team through shared vision, high empathy, and mutual accountability.

Coordinating and deployingadditionalSteelcase sales resources within the region.

Fosteringleadershipalignment and creating an environment for strong sellingsynergywithour two dealer partners.

Developrelationships, brand awareness, and product preference within theArchitecture + Designand Commercial Real Estatecommunitiesin Washington DC.

Creating and executing market strategies with an emphasis onnew business development incompetitive accountsand new vertical markets.

Activating and enhancing the experience and offeringsat our Washington DC Worklife Center

In compliance with pay transparency laws, the annual base salary range for this position is $180,900 - $226,100 - $282,00.Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
