Regional Sales Manager

Aegis is seeking a Sales Manager to join our client's organization. This is a remote role within the NE territory of the US with travel required to customer sites. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience: Required Qualifications: 2–5+ years of successful outside sales or business development experience , preferably within manufacturing, industrial products, or packaging. Proven track record of generating new business through prospecting, cold calling, and converting leads into long-term customers. Strong hunter mentality with a passion for developing new accounts and expanding market share. Experience selling flexible packaging products or solutions, including applications within industrial, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or food packaging markets. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all organizational levels. Comfortable traveling to customer manufacturing facilities and conducting face-to-face sales meetings. Strong negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills. Experience using CRM and ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing an independent sales territory and pipeline. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blown film extrusion , polyethylene films, or related flexible packaging manufacturing processes. Experience selling technical or customized packaging solutions to industrial manufacturers. Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and Epicor ERP . Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field Key Responsibilities: Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the flexible packaging and industrial manufacturing markets. Execute a proactive sales strategy through cold calling, networking, customer visits, and relationship building. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ranging from plant-level personnel to senior leadership and C-suite executives. Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation through negotiations and closing. Grow and strengthen existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional business. Conduct onsite customer visits to understand manufacturing operations, packaging requirements, and potential solutions. Utilize CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and monitor business development activity. Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs. Leverage sales analytics, market insights, and technology to improve sales effectiveness and identify growth opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
