Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Location: Dallas, TX & Greater DFW MetroplexJob Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Locum Tenens / Contract, or PRN (1099 or W-2 Options Available)Shift Options: Flexible shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours); Day shifts, Night/Call options, or No-Call ambulatory schedulesPosition OverviewWe are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our staffing network. We partner with top-tier hospital networks, outpatient surgery centers, specialty clinics, and GI suites across Dallas and the surrounding metro area.Whether you are looking for lucrative locum tenens contracts, predictable ambulatory surgery center hours, or flexible PRN shifts, our agency provides placements tailored to your clinical experience and desired work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, lab results, and physical conditions.Formulate and execute tailored anesthesia care plans in accordance with facility protocols and clinical standards.Administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, local, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC/TIVA) across diverse surgical and diagnostic procedures.Monitor patient vital signs, physiological responses, and airway stability continuously during procedures, making immediate adjustments as needed.Manage intraoperative and post-anesthesia complications, including emergency airway interventions and resuscitation.Oversee post-anesthesia recovery (PACU), managing pain protocol and patient emergence.Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the facility's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, operating room nurses, and surgical techs.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Master's or Doctoral degree (DNAP / DNP) from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia educational program.Licensure: Active, unencumbered Texas RN License or valid eNLC Compact RN License.Active Texas APRN Authorization to practice as a CRNA issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.National Certification: Current active NBCRNA certification or recertification.Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical CRNA experience preferred (new graduates may be considered for select clinical settings).Prescriptive Authority: Active DEA and Texas DPS registration (or eligibility) where required by facility privileges.What We OfferTop-Tier Compensation: Premium hourly rates for W-2 or 1099 contracts with weekly direct deposit.Malpractice Coverage: Comprehensive A-rated medical malpractice coverage (including tail coverage where applicable) provided for contract assignments.Flexible Assignments: Choose from high-acuity hospital ORs, fast-paced ASCs, or low-stress office-based environments.Benefits & Support: Health, dental, and retirement plan options for eligible positions, plus a dedicated 24/7 placement specialist.Travel & Housing Options: Stipends available for candidates commuting into the DFW area.Who We Are:For over 30 years, PMC Medical Staffing has been more than just a staffing agency—we've been a career partner for thousands of healthcare professionals nationwide.
