Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ER patients using established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect relevant data, assess health status, diagnose issues, and develop a plan of care; implement interventions and coordinate care with the team
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor responses and adjust as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately, supervise assigned staff, and maintain a safe, healing, and humane environment
- Provide patient and family education; document care processes and outcomes accurately

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of California
- BSN preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A required
- At least 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
