Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position involves assessing residents and administering medications. The LPN will report any changes in residents' conditions to the physician and charge nurse, provide updates to family members, and assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.

Essential Job Duties

Administer medications to residents while adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Notify the charge nurse of any changes in residents' conditions.
Assist CNAs in answering call lights and performing other responsibilities as required.
Provide updates to physicians and family members regarding any changes in residents' conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Required Qualifications

Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Position Details

This is a full-time position with evening shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM, including every other weekend.
