OverviewLutron has an immediate opening for a dynamic and driven Architectural & Design Specification Salesperson to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this position, you will be instrumental in generating demand for our innovative Window Systems, Lighting Control, Lighting solutions. This role requires you to reside in the Dallas metro area and be able to travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.ResponsibilitiesEngage with Industry Professionals: Collaborate directly with architects, interior designers, and other key stakeholders to showcase the benefits of Lutron solutions Build Strong Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, lasting relationships with industry professionals to influence design specifications and ensure Lutron products are included in upcoming projectsEducate and Advocate: Provide comprehensive education on the advantages of Lutron's solutions, positioning our products as the preferred choice for design specificationsCollaboration: Effectively communicate with team members, rep agents, Lutron dealers, vendor partners, and other influencers to ensure comprehensive project specificationsTechnical Expertise: Establish yourself as a technical expert on Lutron products for specification customers, end-users, and trade partnersSales & Service: Close projects by leveraging your technical expertise and providing exceptional customer serviceQualificationsHigh School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum 7 years' work experience required; prior architectural, interior design, product, sales, or lighting design experience preferredExperience in commercial architectural and interior design specification sales is preferred.Passion for Sales, working with design community, and understanding the design and construction sales cycleDemonstrated ability to learn technical products, their benefits, and specify themMust have ability to collaborate with a Team to close projectsPersonal vehicle and Driver's License requiredThis is a home-based position requiring travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Candidates must reside in the Dallas Metro area and must be able to travel regularly within the assigned territory.You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future.
