Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Gastroenterology Endoscopy Laboratory RN and/or Surgical Technician positions are available at a regional healthcare facility located in Farmington, New Mexico. This role involves assisting with intra-procedural technical tasks within the endoscopy unit, including performing procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy. The position requires a collaborative team approach and adherence to safety and procedural standards to deliver high-quality patient care. Job Details Location: Farmington, New Mexico Start Date: 08/24/2026 Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week Number of Openings: 1 RN or Surgical Technician Position Type: Full-time Required Qualifications: RN degree for RNs and Certified Surgical Technology Program for Surgical Techs, 3 years of experience, current certifications including BLS and ACLS, proficiency with Olympus endoscopic equipment, and intra-procedural technical experience with procedures such as biopsies, foreign body retrieval, ERCP, and therapeutic injections. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with gastroenterological procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and proactive team assistance skills. Additional Information: Procedural tech experience is essential for this role. Clinical competence in performing critical and non-critical actions related to endoscopy, such as biopsy, balloon dilatation, and stent placement, is required. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment and supplies effectively. Float Requirement: Possibly to Pre-Operative areas if caseload in the endoscopy unit is low.
