Facilities ManagerMy highly respected client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the safety, maintenance, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This critical leadership role ensures all physical assets—including buildings, grounds, and equipment—are maintained to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.If you're passionate about safety, operational excellence, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and enforce health & safety programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulationsConduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drillsMaintain accurate compliance documentation and inspection recordsDevelop and execute preventive maintenance programs for machinery and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Plan and oversee repairs, upgrades, and facility improvements with minimal production disruptionManage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service qualityProcure parts, supplies, and equipment to support facility operationsMaintain and update emergency response plans and coordinate incident responseSupervise contractors and ensure adherence to safety and performance standardsDeliver safety training and promote proper PPE usageFoster a strong safety-first culture through communication and leadershipQualifications5+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systemsIn-depth understanding of OSHA standards and environmental regulationsProven success in safety compliance and preventive maintenance programsExcellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience managing budgets and vendor relationshipsPreferred:Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field
