Seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to contract with schools in the Saint Paul area, supporting a variety of students and classrooms. Multiple positions are available, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027, with the academic year beginning on September 8. This is an excellent opportunity for educators enthusiastic about making a difference in diverse school settings through a long-term engagement.

Key qualifications:

• Current, active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Experience working in special education settings strongly preferred
• Ability to start promptly and commit to the full assignment duration
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Professionalism and a history of positive workplace relationships; prior district experience must be free of any conflicts or negative conclusions
• Willingness to provide location preferences and flexibility regarding school sites

Role responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Regularly communicate with families regarding student progress and program goals
• Engage in ongoing professional development and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Maintain detailed, timely records as required

With over ten positions available and a variety of locations, candidates are encouraged to indicate their ideal placements or areas of interest. Schedules are full-time, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
