A Middletown, VA outpatient physical therapy office is hiring a Physical Therapist Director for a full-time position. This opportunity offers $90,000-$120,000 per year , a Monday-Friday schedule , and the chance to lead a clinic team while continuing to provide patient care.

This role is for a Physical Therapist who understands that strong outpatient care is built through clear communication, thoughtful treatment planning, accurate documentation, and a team that feels supported.

In This Role, You Will

• Evaluate patients and identify functional goals
• Create and update treatment plans based on patient progress
• Provide direct therapy for patients with injury, pain, post-surgical, and mobility needs
• Lead the clinical team through daily care priorities
• Support therapists and staff with patient care planning
• Review notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation
• Help manage workflow, patient flow, and clinic organization
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to lead with clear communication and practical direction
