The Opportunity

This outpatient physical therapy office is looking for a Physical Therapist Director who can be both a strong clinician and a steady leader. The right person will be involved in patient care, team guidance, documentation oversight, and the daily details that keep a clinic running smoothly.

This role is a good fit for a PT who wants more responsibility without stepping away from meaningful patient interaction.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Patient evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Hands-on treatment for patients with pain, injury, weakness, and mobility needs
• Clinical support for therapists and care team members
• Review of documentation, plans of care, and progress updates
• Daily clinic workflow, care coordination, and patient flow
• Communication with physicians, referral partners, and families

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
