Oakwood Heights Village is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage, and supporting daily staffing operations in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain staff schedules for nursing and facility departments

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times

• Coordinate shift coverage, including call-offs and last-minute changes

• Communicate with staff regarding schedule updates and open shifts

• Track attendance, overtime, and staffing patterns

• Work closely with department heads to meet staffing needs

• Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports

• Assist with onboarding schedules for new hires

Qualifications:

• Previous scheduling experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office

• Knowledge of staffing ratios and healthcare regulations is a plus
