Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in West Chester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
