Social Content Producer

SHADOWNUT partners with early-stage founders to redesign e-commerce experiences that delight. convert. retain. We work with product-based brands pre-$1M in annual revenue who are ready for a website that finally matches the quality of their product. Our focus is simple: create high-performing storefronts that give founders peace of mind and support sustainable growth. We’re hiring a Social Content Producer to help us consistently attract qualified founders. This role focused solely on creating content for Instagram, requiring strong communication, design taste, and ownership. You’ll shape how SHADOWNUT shows up to potential clients. This role is a great fit… If you have strong visual taste for Instagram content If you enjoy creating clean, on-brand IG posts If you write clear, natural, high-converting messages If you find great satisfaction in creating for and engaging with a niche community If you can quickly adapting messaging based on what performs If you are reliable, responsive, and self-directed If you are comfortable with Figma, Google Suite, Instagram, and Notion Objectives Produce new branded IG templates (currently undergoing a rebrand_) Produce all static + video content for Instagram accountMonthly content calendar with a mixture of in-feed content + stories Monthy content shoot with Owner Monthly report of IG performance Non-Negotiables Must be able to commute weekly to downtown Chicago for in-person meetings Must be able to provide a W-9 (US Contractor status) Must be a fluent English speaker and writer Must be proficient in Figma Preferences Has experience working with service providers Has experience working with consumer package goods (CPG) brands Contract role (10–15 hours per week) $40-$60/hour based on experience and portfolio Remote work with weekly in-person meeting in Chicago Application Requirements Description of work experience over past 5 years A link to your portfolio of Instagram content created for clients Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a carousel with a specific call-to-action CTA #J-18808-Ljbffr
