Temporary Certified Medical Assistant

Temporary Certified Medical Assistant needed now through September! 

Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
$18.00 - $20.00 an hour 

We are seeking a dependable and professional Temporary Certified Medical Assistant to fill in for our client while they have someone out on leave. This role supports physicians and nurse practitioners by providing excellent patient care and assisting with daily clinical operations.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Certified Medical Assistant:

• Rooming patients and assisting providers during appointments

• Taking patient calls and responding to questions professionally

• Documenting in EMR and preparing charts

• Ordering labs, diagnostic testing, and performing in-house testing/EKGs

• Assisting with scheduling and patient flow

• Cleaning/disinfecting exam rooms and equipment

• Supporting front desk and clinical staff as needed

• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and professionalism at all times

Qualifications of the  Temporary Certified Medical Assistant:

• Medical Assistant certification required (CMA or RMA)

• BLS certification required

• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills

• EMR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks knowledge a plus)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
