Our Absence & Disability Management team at TELUS Health is transforming how U.S. employers support employee wellbeing and workplace resilience. You'll join a purpose-driven, fast-growing team that's expanding rapidly in a high-potential market, working alongside subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to deliver integrated health solutions that make a real difference. This is a hunter-focused role ideal for someone energized by new business development, relationship building, and driving meaningful growth in the health solutions space.
What you'll do

• Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive net-new revenue in TELUS Health's Absence & Disability Management solutions across the U.S. small to mid-market segment
• Lead full sales cycles from prospecting through contract negotiation, including managing RFIs and RFPs with support from internal subject matter experts
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with prospective clients and key partners, leveraging consultative selling approaches to understand client needs and position integrated solutions
• Identify and capitalize on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across TELUS Health's broader portfolio, driving revenue expansion within existing and new accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams including product, clinical, and operations to develop customized, multi-line-of-business client strategies that drive adoption and long-term partnerships
• Strategically manage pipeline growth and forecast accuracy, prioritizing high-impact opportunities and maintaining disciplined sales processes
• Represent TELUS Health at national industry events, client engagements, and strategic sales initiatives to build brand presence and generate qualified leads

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of progressive business development or sales experience with demonstrated success in lead generation, opportunity management, and closing complex deals
• Proven experience selling into small to mid-market organizations with ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
• Strong consultative selling approach with excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans with strong business acumen and market awareness
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment with strong organizational skills and professional maturity
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events

Great-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in Absence & Disability Management, group benefits, workers' compensation, occupational health, or employee health and wellbeing solutions
• Proven track record selling health, HR, or benefits-related solutions in the U.S. market
• Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000

Sales Incentive Plan Range: $110,000 - $160,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
