You'll work directly with maintenance technicians, mechanics, electricians, reliability engineers, and plant leadership to install, configure, and successfully implement TRACTIAN's hardware and software solutions. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with industrial equipment, and interacting directly with customers. You'll visit manufacturing and industrial facilities, evaluate equipment, develop installation plans, install sensors and gateways, troubleshoot technical issues, train customers, and ensure projects are completed safely and successfully. FSEs are expected to take ownership of their projects, work independently in the field, and represent TRACTIAN professionally at customer sites.ResponsibilitiesLead onsite installations and implementations of TRACTIAN's hardware and software solutions.Evaluate customer facilities and equipment to develop sensor deployment and installation plans.Install, configure, and commission vibration sensors, gateways, and related hardware.Work directly with maintenance, reliability, engineering, operations, and plant leadership teams.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, connectivity, and installation issues.Independently manage onsite projects and make appropriate technical decisions in the field.Train customers on TRACTIAN's technology and implementation best practices.Build strong relationships with customers and serve as a trusted technical resource.Coordinate project execution with internal teams, customer stakeholders, contractors, and onsite resources.Manage installations from initial site assessment through completion.Document project activities, installations, equipment information, and customer interactions in CRM systems.Follow customer safety requirements, site procedures, and TRACTIAN installation standards.RequirementsHands-on experience in field service, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, reliability, mechanical, electrical, automation, heavy equipment, or a related technical field.Experience installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, or servicing industrial equipment or rotating equipment.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with demonstrated problem-solving skills.Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or other technical environments.Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment manuals, schematics, or installation instructions.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make sound technical decisions in the field.Strong communication and customer-facing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and train customers.Ability to comply with customer safety requirements and applicable site procedures.Proficiency with technical documentation and CRM software.Ability and willingness to travel 50% throughout North America weekly.Bonus PointsCertifications in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.Experience with vibration analysis, vibration monitoring, or predictive maintenance.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive SalaryPremium Medical, Dental, and Vision CoveragePaid Time Off (PTO): 15 Days401(k) Retirement PlanWellhub Membership - Access a wide range of gyms and training programs.Sports Incentive - Receive a monthly bonus when you regularly participate in physical activities.Long-Term Benefit - After four years of service, earn a fully funded trip anywhere in the world.
