CNC Machine Operator

This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality components that meet customer and engineering specifications.

CNC Machine Operator Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $ 21.00 / hour
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:30am to 01:30pm)

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment according to production schedules and specifications
• Load raw materials and verify machine setups prior to operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and notify maintenance or leadership of major concerns
• Change tooling, offsets, and fixtures as required for production runs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals and deadlines

CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
• Familiarity with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, or similar systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic, attendance, and teamwork skills
