Associate Attorney - Litigation / Transactional

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about practicing law, eager to develop into a lead attorney, and interested in a clear path toward partnership.

The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a strong desire to take ownership of complex legal matters while working closely with experienced attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a variety of civil litigation matters.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.

• Draft and respond to written discovery.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Participate in court appearances, mediations, and trials.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

• Handle transactional matters, including contract drafting and business-related legal work, for candidates interested in a hybrid practice.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar License (Required).

• Prior litigation experience preferred.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Experience with depositions, discovery, and trial preparation is highly desirable.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

• Commitment to professional growth and long-term career development.
