A homemaker/companion provides non-medical home care which includes: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home.We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with: Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board.The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance.This job post is specifically hiring for weekend shifts Friday - Sunday short shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm (3-5 hour shifts) and 3:00 pm-11:00 pm.Benefits:Flexibility! These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/GroomingAmbulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs)Prepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointmentsPerforms light housekeeping activitiesMedication remindersCare of bed-bound clientsUse lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer LiftsProvide CompanionshipRequirements:Must be 18 years of ageMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobMust possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insuranceMust have the ability to pass a full employment background checkHCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment)TB Skin test (can accept completed test not older than 90 days)Right at Home is an international non-medical home care agency that provides care to seniors wherever they call home!Join an award winning company that makes a difference in the lives of our clients and their extended families.
