A homemaker/companion provide non-medical home care which include: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminder, companionship, transportation to client's doctor appointment, errands, and light housekeeping and so much more! Our goal is to help our senior clients remain as independent as possible wherever they call home. We are hiring care providers who have ALL the skills and experience with: Dementia, Hospice, Incontinence, Transfers-Hoyer, Gait, Slide Board. The career requires your own vehicle to transport clients, valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance. This Job post is specifically hiring for weekend shifts Friday - Sunday Short Shifts between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm ( 3-5 hour shifts ) and 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Benefits: Flexibility! These could include (but are not limited to): Assist with Dressing/Grooming Ambulation/Transfers (be able to lift 50 lbs) Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments Performs light housekeeping activities Medication reminders Care of bed-bound clients Use lifting equipment such as Gait Belts, Slide Boards and Hoyer Lifts Provide Companionship Requirements: Must be 18 years of age Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Must possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check HCA Registration (We can assist at offer of employment) TB Skin test (can accept competed test not older than 90 days) Right at Home is an International non-medical home care agency that provides care to Seniors wherever they call home!
