We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and patient-focused individual to join our team in a role that works collaboratively between our billing department and front office team.

Position Summary

The new patient registration coordinator/patient access representative is responsible for supporting new patient onboarding, appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and front office support. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with new patients by phone in a professional and compassionate manner
• Register and schedule new patient appointments
• Guide patients through the registration and onboarding process
• Review, update, and verify demographic and insurance information for accuracy
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and call queue
• Assist with pre-registration processes and ensure accurate data entry
• Audit patient accounts for accuracy of demographics and insurance coverage
• Maintain confidential patient information in compliance with hipaa regulations
• Provide backup support to front office operations as needed
• Collaborate across departments to support efficient patient access and workflow

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Medical office or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software programs efficiently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday Friday
• Office hours: 7:00 am 4:00 pm
• No evenings or weekends

Location

Primary location will be our Bedford office, with occasional travel to Derry, Londonderry, or Windham offices as needed.

Compensation

Starting at $18.00 per hour, with compensation varying based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
