Temp - Registered Nurse (RN)

Traveler Position

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Orientation schedule:

2026: 01/12, 01/26, 02/09, 02/23, 03/09, 03/23, 04/06, 04/20, 05/04, 05/18, 06/01, 06/15, 06/29, 07/13, 07/27, 08/10, 08/24, 09/08 (Tuesday), 09/21, 10/05, 10/19, 11/02, 11/16, 11/30, 12/14, 12/28

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Summer Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of previous Med Surg experience [required]
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience [preferred], as traveler will float to the Stepdown unit as needed
• First time travelers accepted!
• 1:5-6 patient ratio
• ACLS [required]
• BLS [required]

• Driver's License [required]
• Work history/resume [required]
• Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date) [required]
• License verification [required]
• Copy of required certifications
• References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission [required]
• **Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from facility. **Unless Madison where they will accept local with a 10% rate reduction***
