This rolerequires legal knowledge, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to driveinnovation and efficiency. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with practice andbusiness stakeholders to drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the firm.This role also involves continuous monitoring and improvement of automated systems. Bystaying at the forefront of legal technology trends, this role will spearhead innovativeprojects that significantly improve legal operations and contribute to the overall success ofthe organization.About this RoleEngage with stakeholders to proactively identify process improvement opportunities,gather requirements, design and deliver solutions that align with customer needs.Review, analyze, and model business processes and information flows to identifyinefficiencies and areas for improvement.Propose solutions (including automation and use of AI); identifying alignment withbusiness requirements; making recommendations.Responsible to document process change requirements using the agreed standards,methods, and tools ensuring consistent high-quality output.Responsible for the design and implementation automated solutions using MicrosoftStudio ecosystem.Responsible for the definition, development, and delivery processes and systems to ensurethat service levels are consistently in alignment with customer experience expectations.Effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels and in all departments inorder to ensure their engagement and support of business improvement activities.Integrate automation solutions with existing software systems and databases.Provide technical oversight and review of work from junior team membersResponsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of newapplications and automations, as well as the enhancement and maintenance ofexisting ones.Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive can do attitude to internalmembers/departments of the Firm.Facilities cross-functional collaboration to ensure that automation initiatives are alignedwith broader firm goals.Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills Your Qualifications/What You Will BringProficiency with Microsoft O365 applications and Microsoft Copilot Studio Power Apps and AI agents)Strong technical background with a focus on workflow automation and process improvement.Experience in process automation, scripting, and workflow design, and automation tools (Copilot studio: Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, PowerBI)Desire to learn new techniques and skills. Strong analysis, planning, organizing and time management skills.Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines.Interest in and ability to acquire new skills and tackle challenging projects.Ability to work effectively with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environments. Required Experience Education:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Experience:3-5 years’ application design, development, and support experience.
