Machine Operator I

California Screw Products is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in aerospace/manufacturing who already has basic inspection and measuring-tool experience. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety requirements. Load and unload parts and materials from assigned machines. Perform basic inspections of manufactured parts. Use micrometers and calipers to accurately measure parts and verify dimensions . Identify and report parts that are outside specification. Read and follow basic work instructions, routers, and production documentation. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Keep the assigned work area clean, organized, and safe. Meet established production and quality expectations. Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. Required Qualifications Experience using micrometers and calipers is required. Ability to accurately read measurements and perform basic dimensional inspections. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail. Dependable attendance and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required . Preferred Experience Aerospace, machining, fastener, metalworking, or manufacturing experience. Familiarity with blueprints or technical drawings. Experience working with production equipment or manufacturing inspection tools. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position. Ability to safely work around manufacturing machinery and equipment.
