Gas Turbine Quality Specialist

Description The QA Specialist/Associate is responsible for ensuring repaired gas turbine components meet customer, engineering, and quality requirements through incoming, in-process, and final inspections. This position plays a critical role in verifying product conformity, reviewing repair documentation, processing job close-outs, and maintaining compliance with company quality standards and ISO procedures. Roles & Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of gas turbine components and repaired hardware. Verify compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, repair instructions, and quality requirements. Review and approve routers, inspection records, and repair documentation for completeness and accuracy. Sign-off job close-outs and ensure all required quality documentation is complete before shipment. Identify and document non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions. Ensure adherence to quality management system requirements, work instructions, and repair processes, including but not limited to calibration system, NCR, MRB, and supplier quality. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve process performance. Maintain quality records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Other related duties assigned by management Requirements Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience. 2+ years of quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, or gas turbine repair experience. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, repair manuals, and work instructions. Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Socket.dev
