Line Cook
Babychan
Line cooks are responsible for daily preparation, cooking, and plating dishes in accordance with proper recipe and guidelines of their stations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execution of dishes and recipes on station.
• Ensure that all food products are prepared according to standards of consistency and quality.
• Ensure that all given prep and cleaning tasks are completed daily.
• Perform all duties while following health department sanitation requirements
• Break down and clean station and kitchen according to standards.
• Complete any other task given by chef/manager on duty.
• Ensure that all required product is ordered or chef is alerted to needed items.
• Minimum 1-2 years professional cooking experience.
• Rudimentary product identification knowledge in produce, meats, fish, herbs, grains and equipment.
• Basic understanding of knife skills, ability to maintain a sharp knife.
• Sense of urgency.
