Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.
- Assist in preparing bids and proposals for potential projects.
- Support project teams during pre-construction and planning phases.
- Monitor and evaluate project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Provide input on value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

The Successful Applicant
- A background in construction, property, or related fields.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to prepare accurate estimates.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
- Experience with estimating software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
