Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia

Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or Post-Anesthesia setting
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Ability to handle higher acuity cases such as thoracic, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, urology, and general surgery

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with trauma or emergency surgery cases
Prior experience working in a 24/7 unit with rotating shifts
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

Active RN license in the state of employment
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
Experience in a hospital PACU environment, especially in a high-volume or specialty surgical unit

Other Requirements:

No local candidates within 50 miles; this is a 13-week assignment scheduled from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm
Availability to work in a unit that operates 24/7, including holidays with on-call responsibilities
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with a multidisciplinary team
Valid licensure, certification, and any applicable travel or reimbursement needs
