Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Orthopedic unit
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift
• Support med/surg overflow needs in addition to primary orthopedic caseload
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and clear Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care Medical/Surgical experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced orthopedic unit
• Familiarity with med/surg overflow patient populations
