Currently, we manage three hospitals in the Oklahoma area. The organization is financially strong, and nationally recognized for quality and operational performance, with all three hospitals ranked among the top ten critical access hospitals in the United States. Over the next three years, our company will aggressively expand its hospital portfolio while relocating its corporate headquarters to Dallas in 2028. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial executive to serve as Vice President. Job Purpose The Vice President will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for helping oversee our current hospital operations while driving growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and operational integration. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable in executive strategy discussions, hospital operations, physician and community relationships, financial analysis, and business development. This role is designed for a highly ambitious executive who desires broad leadership responsibility and the opportunity to compete for future CEO position within a fast-growing healthcare organization. Required Experience & Characteristics Experience working collaboratively with fellow executives to solve problems Entrepreneurial mindset and competitive drive High emotional intelligence and leadership maturity Strategic thinking balanced with operational discipline and common sense Ability to thrive in a performance-driven executive environment Essential Functions Strategic Leadership Partner directly with the CEO to execute our long-term growth strategy Assist in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring additional hospitals and healthcare assets in Oklahoma and Texas Participate in board presentations, strategic planning, and executive decision‑making Help position our company as a premier operator of rural and critical access hospitals Operations Management Support oversight of operational performance across all managed hospitals Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, financial performance, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with hospital CEOs and leadership teams to improve efficiency, growth, and patient outcomes Growth and Business Development Lead or support acquisition due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning Develop relationships with physicians, community leaders, lenders, investors, and healthcare stakeholders Identify new service line opportunities and strategic partnerships Support expansion into Texas markets and assist with the Dallas headquarters transition Executive Leadership Serve as a visible leader within the organization and local communities Foster a culture of accountability, performance, innovation, and mission‑driven leadership Act as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the CEO Leadership Characteristics Accountability: We take responsibility for our individual and collective actions. Education / Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field Healthcare experience not required Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing operational and financial performance Demonstrated leadership ability in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presentation skills Willingness to travel frequently Preferred MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree Experience working with boards and lenders CEO, COO, or Division President experience strongly preferred Physical Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily.
