Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of critical care experience and current MN RN licensure.

Details

• Cath Lab unit performing an average daily census of 10-20 cases across 4 labs with 12 visits per day
• 4x10-hour day shifts starting at 7:30 AM
• On-call required roughly every 4th weekend and 1-2 weekdays per week based on department need
• May float between Mercy Coon Rapids and Mercy Unity campuses as needed
• Conscious sedation and telemetry monitoring required, with scrub and ventilator experience preferred
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active or pending MN RN license accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with some critical care background required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Skilled in EKG/ECG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, sheath removal, and vascular closure devices
• Experience with procedural sedation monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Must provide date of birth, SSN, certification copies, Nursys verification, and RTO at time of consideration
• At least one supervisor reference required

Additional Information

• Level 2 Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital setting with 258 staffed beds
• Provide direct patient care in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
• Scrubs provided by facility, no parking fees
• Completion of pre-start onboarding modules required prior to assignment start
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible unless applying for a radiology position
• Returning employees must have been separated from Allina staff or per diem roles for at least 3 months
• RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days
