Patient Services Representative

Description Eye Health America partners with leading eye care practices across the Southeast, providing the operational, strategic, and administrative support needed to deliver exceptional patient care. The Eye Associates, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. We are always seeking great people who aren't just searching for a job but looking to make a difference. Must be willing to travel to our different clinic locations. Overtime may be required. Checks patients in for appointments, greeting everyone in a pleasant and professional manner. Marks the arrival time of patients in the office and makes sure that patients are seen on time. Scans patients’ insurance cards and driver's licenses. Enters all new patient demographic information into the computer. Ensures that proper authorization or referral is collected from the patient. Presents and collects fees, posts payments, and schedules the patient’s next appointment. Monitors accounts that are past due and collects payment at checkout. Maintains own cash drawer and is responsible for balancing daily with payments posted and credit cards processed. Evaluates chart data to verify all information has been received, completed, and signatures obtained.
