Job Summary The Trace3 Government Program Manager is responsible for strategic direction, management, and execution of a program to achieve mission‑critical goals. This role ensures programs are executed efficiently, effectively, and in full compliance with the Statement of Work. The Program Manager works collaboratively with engineering, sales, recruiting, and customer teams, managing budgeting, financial compliance, staff augmentation, and corporate finance. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with excellent communication, proven ability to manage complex initiatives, and focus on delivering long‑term business outcomes. Remote position, but requires on‑site meetings in Colorado Springs, CO. Summary of Essential Job Functions Lead program execution of assigned statement of work Establish and track program objectives, metrics to evaluate implementation and coordinate with customers for high satisfaction Coordinate with Engineering Lead for each project to optimize resource allocation and achieve financial goals Develop and monitor budgets for projects and programs, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation Represent team to Trace3 leadership or internal stakeholders to address issues, questions, and concerns Foster a high‑performance culture based on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement Primary interface and point of contact with government program authorities and representatives on program/project regarding contract growth opportunities Proactive problem solver, adapt to changing priorities quickly Brief senior leadership on overall health of contract; anticipate any hiccups and provide solutions Assist in transition activities for contract start and completion Develop statements of work and cost estimates with engineering team for potential opportunities Conduct duties with full understanding of client requirements and relevant policies and regulations Ensure project(s) and personnel maintain correct direction in fulfillment of contract scope of work Act as POC for HC Recruiting team for staff augmentation clarification or feedback related to contract growth Collaborate with project team and clients; conduct periodic visits to assess status and contribute to administrative, technical or evaluation work in the field Formulate and enforce work standards, assignments, schedules, and review of contract deliverables Provide contract budgets and modifications, quarterly and monthly reports to CORs; ensure accuracy Review and comment on progress reports, work plans and other documents to ensure compliance with company standards and contract requirements Required Skills and Experience Proven ability to lead diverse teams, delegate, and manage conflicts in a matrix environment Minimum 7+ years of experience managing complex programs or portfolios Familiarity with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including ability to brief senior executives and deliver public presentations Work Environment The position is performed within a secure, classified workspace. Salary The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000 USD, with additional variable incentive compensation opportunities as applicable.
