The company employs over 2,000 technologists, data scientists, and experts to develop, test, and validate solutions in line with RELX Responsible AI Principles.About the RoleAs a Senior Visual Designer I, you will lead visual design strategy for a business or product line, creating engaging and user-centered experiences that solve meaningful customer problems. You will partner with cross-functional teams, leverage research and data to guide design decisions, and help shape design practices while mentoring fellow designers.ResponsibilitiesAlign and coach teams to ensure customer needs are met and user outcomes remain central to design decisionsGather, evaluate, and apply customer insights and use cases to inform design strategyPartner with UX Researchers and UX Designers to understand user needs, define product structure, and create effective visual experiencesCreate original visual design assets and introduce new design patterns and style guidesAnalyze briefs, identify the right problems to solve, and develop creative solutionsCollect feedback from users, stakeholders, and designers, iterating and testing solutions to improve outcomesUse analytics, customer insights, testing results, and other data sources to establish metrics and guide future design strategyBuild strong relationships with technology teams and communicate designs effectively across platformsRequirementsMastery of user-centered design processesExpert knowledge of design software such as Adobe and SketchAbility to create high-quality visual designs across multiple platformsExperience collaborating with UX Researchers, UX Designers, developers, and stakeholdersProficiency using tools that communicate designs to development teams, including InVision and ZeplinStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutionsAbility to develop new ideas, improve processes, and support implementation planningCommitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and mentoring othersWork in a Way That Works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
