JOB TITLE Teaching Aide JOB PURPOSE Assist with duties including: curriculum instruction, indoor and outdoor supervision of play, nap time, diaper changing, and assistance with assessment of individual children. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work in classroom with children 3 months to 5 years old. Assist with curriculum instruction. Supervise indoor and outdoor play. Nursing duties: nap time, diaper changing. Assist with assessment of individual children. COMPETENCIES Professional and compassionate. Ability to work under stressful situations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED. Some experience working with children. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Enrolled UW student with experience working with children.
