Express Service Advisor

Express Service Advisor What You’ll Do Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service. Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document requested services and vehicle concerns. Open and maintain repair orders using dealership computer systems. Perform basic vehicle walk-arounds and document the vehicle’s condition. Recommend routine maintenance and services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle needs. Communicate with technicians and the Service Department to ensure customer concerns are properly addressed. Provide customers with updates regarding the status of their vehicle. Explain recommended services, repairs, estimates, and completed work in a clear and professional manner. Review repair orders with customers and obtain necessary approvals before additional work is performed. Help coordinate Express Service operations, including oil changes, tire services, brakes, batteries, filters, inspections, recalls, and other routine maintenance. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information. Follow dealership and Ford policies, procedures, and customer-service standards. Help ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers in a timely manner. Provide a professional and welcoming experience from vehicle drop-off through pickup. Assist with scheduling future maintenance and service appointments. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service-drive environment. Work closely with Service Advisors, technicians, parts personnel, and management to provide an exceptional customer experience. What We’re Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Excellent customer-service and communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software. Ability to explain information clearly to customers. Basic automotive knowledge is helpful, but automotive experience is not required . Previous customer-service, retail, sales, or automotive experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Willingness to learn and grow within the dealership.
