Responsibilities Perform operational audits of various departments and products to determine compliance with established policies and procedures and/or certain banking regulations Assist with examination of Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance by performing tests of controls within key business processes Perform a review or investigate issues at the request of the Board or Management Consult with Management to provide guidance on improvement opportunities Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit Department Remain current on relevant company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, to ensure compliance Identify and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls Formalize audit observations and draft reports Manage remediation of audit findings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer science, or related field Plans to pursue one of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, or CISA Proven ability to multi‑task, prioritize workload, work independently, and meet deadlines Ability to analyze and creatively solve problems Banking or financial services experience SOX experience Axos Employee Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year) HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self‑Directed Trading About Axos Born digital‑first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
