DevOps Support Engineer

DevOps Support EngineerSusquehanna is currently looking for a DevOps Support Engineer to join our Market Data Operations team in our Philadelphia area headquarters.You will be working side by side with software developers and business teams as you support our production trading environment. This role requires assessment, triage, and resolution of technical issues impacting our environment and business operations.Our technology framework continues to expand and change, which allows our support team members to build upon their technical skills. Project work on this team would allow you to grow your skills in a number of areas such as development, platform engineering, testing, and business analysis.In this role you will:Provide daily operational support of proprietary trading systemsTroubleshoot and support Linux based systemsDeploy and maintain critical applicationsImplement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-codeSupport and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologiesCommunicate to both business and technology communities during production issuesWork on a wide variety of projects depending on business needs and your interestsWhat we're looking for:Experience in an application support, operations, DevOps, systems administration, or related roleScripting experience and a drive towards automating repetitive tasks required (e.g. Bash and Python)Unix and Linux Command Line experience/knowledge requiredStrong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and communicate during system outagesAbility to effectively and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily workflowsBS in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc) is preferredSusquehanna does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or search firms.
