As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Mechanicsville, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or security-related policies at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, emergency services, and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, public areas, parking locations, road-facing perimeters, and/or other assigned grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, document observed activity, and/or report maintenance, traffic, or security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
