Skilled Construction Laborer
Were hiring General Laborers to support the construction of prefabricated metal buildings. This role involves a mix of foundation work, assembly, and hands-on tasks using basic tools. Youll receive training to read blueprints and contribute to the successful completion of commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with footings and foundation preparation
- Assemble prefabricated metal buildings
- Operate hand and power tools, lifts, telehandlers, and skid steers
- Perform physical labor on commercial construction sites
- Work with materials including metal panels, trims, insulation, drywall, and paint
- Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of construction experience
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Exposure to at least 3 of the following trades:
- Metal Panel Installation
- Trims
- Insulation
- Carpentry
- Drywall
- Painting
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions (Summer/Winter)
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
