Summary/Objective

The Outreach Specialist will be a self-starter who can work independently to meet goals set out by the Marketing Department and Corporate Management teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, outgoing, and accountable.

Essential Functions

• Manage and grow Sunrise's relationships with healthcare providers.
• Performs follow-ups as directed by management on prospect meetings and assist in the successful negotiation and acquisition of new referral/patient streams from targeted groups or individuals.
• Build and deepen strategic relationships, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise.
• Exceeds intake and new patient targets by establishing influence in market segments including, but not limited to: physicians, practitioners, social services, hospitals, professional organizations, mental health centers, etc. through a variety of avenues such as personal appointments and visits, phone calls, letters, emails, and conferences.
• Manage and track outreach efforts in Access, Excel, and other systems.
• Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing goals in both written and verbal formats.
• Plan and attend Sunrise outreach events.

Travel

Extensive travel both to Sunrise and non-Sunrise external locations will be required. In-person meetings will be required and frequent.

Required Education and Experience

Knowledge of addiction treatment practices and processes Expert at Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, Word, and Access primarily) High School Degree or equivalent.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Business to Business sales experience
• CDCA credential
• Healthcare outreach experience
